Job summary

Kerry Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Maintenance lead to support the Engineering function in overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role ensures all activities are safe, efficient, and compliant with standards.

Responsibilities include planning, supervising daily maintenance, monitoring staff performance, inspecting systems, coordinating with vendors, maintaining records, and ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and building systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling and supervising daily maintenance operations.
• Monitor performance of maintenance staff and provide guidance and training.
• Inspect facilities, equipment and systems for proper functioning.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist in preparing maintenance budgets and controlling costs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and implement solutions.
• Recommend improvements to procedures, equipment reliability and facility operations.
