Job summary

Jumeirah The Red Sea is seeking a Steward – Kitchen to join our culinary team in Umluj. The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining dishes, equipment, and maintaining high hygiene standards across Food and Beverage outlets.

The ideal candidate should have a Higher Secondary School certificate and at least 1 year of relevant experience, including exposure to international environments and a strong understanding of cultural differences and respectful conduct.

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary School certificate.
• Entry Level: 1 or more years of experience in a similar role or capacity.
• Possess experience of working in an international capacity.
• Demonstrate a clearunderstanding of culturaldifferencesshowcasingtrust and respect for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain dishes and operating equipment in Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Prepare operating equipment for Banquet functions by counting, sorting, and organizing items.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to a high standard, minimizing breakage and ensuring cleanliness.
• Sanitize machinery and equipment according to established hygiene standards to prevent contamination.
• Adhere to strict standards of personal hygiene and grooming, including wearing prescribed uniforms and name badges.
• Prioritize security by remaining vigilant and reporting any suspicious circumstances to superiors.
