Job summary

Jumeirah Group in the Holy City region is seeking a Stewarding Manager for the Stewarding Department to join its luxury hospitality team in Makkah. The role focuses on maintaining equipment stocks, coordinating with Culinary and F&B, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety across operations.

The ideal candidate will have proven stewarding leadership experience in premium hotels, deep knowledge of hygiene standards, and strong people-management skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stewarding leadership roles within a luxury hotel or high-volume hospitality environment.
• In-depth knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Culinary, F&B, and other departments.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong people-management skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment stocks for outlets and set up procedures for tracking, monitoring and return of requisitions.
• Provide training to team members on processes, procedures, customer service methods and other required training to uphold quality, safety and departmental objectives.
• Coordinate with culinary, chefs, banqueting, food preparation and other departments to determine stewarding requirements and plan equipment/area maintenance.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Stewarding Department and ensure SOPs are followed, promoting teamwork.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment procedures to deliver world-class hospitality services.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment.
