Job summary

AlphaConnect in Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Livestock Specialist to care for cattle, sheep, goats and poultry on our farm. This full-time role requires strong communication and a passion for animal welfare.

You will monitor the health of livestock, develop nutrition plans, oversee breeding programs, maintain health records, ensure proper housing, and work closely with veterinarians to address health concerns. Accommodation is provided for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of livestock experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. As a Livestock Specialist you will be responsible for the care and management of our livestock which includes but is not limited to cattle sheep goats and poultry. This is a full-time position that requires someone with strong communication skills and a passion for animal welfare.

• Oversee breeding programs and ensure proper mating practices
• Maintain accurate records of animal breeding and health history
• Ensure proper housing and living conditions for all livestock
• Administer medication or treatments as needed
• Monitor for any signs of disease or illness in the animals
• Work closely with veterinarians to address any health concerns or emergencies

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Animal Science or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with livestock
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of animal husbandry practices and techniques
• Ability to handle large animals safely and confidently
• Biometric passport required
• Fluent in English

Salary

The salary for this position is $1600 per month. Accommodation will be provided. This job is open to all nationalities who meet the requirements.
