Livestock Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the health and well-being of our livestock, including cattle, sheep, and goats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular health checks on all livestock to ensure their well-being and identify any potential issues.
  • Develop and implement feeding and nutrition plans for different types of livestock.
  • Monitor the growth and development of livestock to ensure they are meeting expected targets.
  • Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of livestock health and performance.
  • Identify and address any potential disease outbreaks or biosecurity risks.
  • Oversee breeding programs for optimal production results.
  • Train and supervise other employees in proper handling and care of livestock.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with livestock, preferably in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of animal husbandry techniques, breeding programs, nutrition, and health management practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions for the welfare of the animals.
