Senior Field Credit Analyst – Team Leader

Full-time. Department: Information - 005. Location: Riyadh, KSA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of analysts in preparing detailed and concise credit reviews.
  • Build market relationships and industry knowledge; conduct sector studies and research to improve sector expertise.
  • Pro-actively build and maintain good working relationships with underwriting and information colleagues.
  • Contact companies and conduct phone and physical interviews to obtain financial and business information to assess their current situation.
  • Manage information related strategic projects:
    • Evolution and integration with Credit Bureaus.
    • Evolution and integration with formal sources.
    • Development of Country reports and macro-economic studies.
  • Work closely with information providers to monitor response time and quality of information.
  • Support regional development and enhance underwriting capabilities by performing financial and field analysis.
  • Participate in sensitive buyer visits and deep-dive reports.
  • Assess debtors on large exposures and sensitive files.
  • Oversee the quality of assessments by others in the team.
  • Ensure information and DRA represent the most up-to-date position and that group standards are applied.
  • Engage in review of source information scores to ensure best quality and accuracy.
  • Validate DRA according to group delegation rules.
  • Liaise with underwriting colleagues to organize monthly meetings and operational reviews.
  • Identify local information sources and develop relationships with banks, trade associations, credit bureaus, and official information bodies.
  • Manage workflows and ensure smooth operations during vacation times.
  • Provide team training, coaching, and mentoring to ensure professional development and efficiency.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise team performance according to goals and standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and other duties assigned by management.
