Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY LTD in Dammam, Saudi Arabia seeks a Project Lead Engineer – Primary with 8–10 years in GIS. You will lead engineering activities, prepare designs and BOQs for GIS-related substations, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet project goals.

You will mentor apprentices and engineers, review technical documents, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality and compliance with Hitachi Energy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Gas insulated Switchgear (GIS).
• Proficiency in English and Arabic languages (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects for GIS modules and substations.
• Prepare designs, project controls, schedules, cost estimates, and specifications for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Management for procurement of materials, equipment and services.
• Coach and review work of junior engineers and technicians; participate in project reviews.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Hitachi Energy standards; drive on-time delivery and quality.
