Job summary

Hitachi Energy Saudi Arabia seeks a GIS I&C Specialist to support installation, commissioning and fault elimination for PGHV projects on site. You will lead on-site activities, ensure compliance with installation instructions and safety guidelines, and coordinate with sub-suppliers to meet schedules.

Requirements: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, 2–5 years GIS experience, knowledge of SF6 gas handling, MS Project proficiency, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of GIS experience.
• Experience with SF6 gas handling and PGHV transmission GIS knowledge preferred.
• Having capability to use MS Project professionally.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensuring compliance with the installation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Advising the sub-supplier's installation superintendent in planning and coordination of the work force necessary to comply with the schedule.
• Cooperating with PG Project Manager on establishing status of completed and non-completed work.
• Inspecting arriving material for completeness and possible damage and coordination of material handling.
• Supervising final installation and commissioning tests and PG installation completion documentation.
