Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a motivated GIS I&C Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee installation, commissioning and maintenance of high-voltage switching systems, working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of GIS experience preferred.
• Experience with SF6 gas handling and PGHV transmission product knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Project and English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning and maintenance of high voltage switching systems.
• Ensure compliance with installation requirements and safety guidelines on live components.
• Advising and coordinating with sub-suppliers and project managers to meet schedules.
• Inspect arriving materials for completeness and damage; coordinate material handling.
• Produce and maintain red-mark drawings and documentation of changes.
