Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a GIS Installation and Commissioning Team Lead based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will guide a GIS field services team, provide technical advisory for commissioning, installation and testing of products, and ensure on-time project execution while maintaining safety and quality across sites.

The role requires 8+ years in GIS with GIS certification, SF6 gas-handling expertise, and fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
8+ years of experience in GIS preferred. GIS certification is a must.
Strong knowledge with SF6 GAS-Handling. PGHV Transmission and Sub transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred.
Proficiency in usage of MS project.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.

Responsibilities

Lead a GIS field services team to ensure capable and on-time execution of orders for new assemblies, malfunctions, preventive maintenance, and commissioning.
Coordinate with site teams, review reports, and ensure lessons learned are reflected in project customer assessments.
Maintain safety by addressing hazards and ensuring the competency matrix is updated with certified supervisors.
Coach and develop team members in safety and technical skills to meet organizational targets.
