Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Saudi Arabia seeks a Project Lead Engineer – Primary to design, plan, and implement engineering projects, including designs, schedules, budgets, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of GIS infrastructure.

You will lead technical activities, produce primary drawings and BOMs, review supplier offers, and coordinate with Supply Chain while mentoring junior engineers to ensure on-time delivery and strict safety and quality adherence in line with Hitachi

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or related field.
8–10 years of relevant GIS experience.
Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written) required.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate engineering activities for GIS projects from inception to commissioning.
Prepare and review primary drawings and Bills of Quantities for engineered GIS items.
Check supplier offers and coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement of materials and services.
Interface with customers to discuss requirements, queries, and project changes.
Mentor apprentices, junior engineers, technicians and review deliverables.
Ensure on-time delivery and maintain safety and quality standards across the project.
