Job summary

Ma'aden Gold and Base Metals (MGBM) is seeking a Lead Specialist, API & Integration II to drive secure, scalable API and integration services across enterprise platforms. You will set patterns, govern access, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end integration outcomes.

The role emphasizes security, governance, platform reliability, and collaboration with data engineering, platform, and application teams to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 7-10 years of API development and integration engineering experience.
• Experience delivering production‑grade integrations with strong security and governance requirements.
• Experience collaborating across platform, engineering, architecture, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secure, scalable APIs and integration services across enterprise platforms and applications.
• Establish integration patterns and service standards for consistency and maintainability.
• Enable governed access to enterprise data products through stable interfaces and service contracts.
• Embed authentication, authorization, auditing, and access controls to protect data and services.
• Ensure API and integration solutions align with governance, security, and enterprise standards.
• Provide technical guidance and assurance for integration initiatives and vendor solutions.
• Partner with data engineering, platform, and application teams to deliver end-to-end outcomes.
