Job summary

Ma’aden Gold and Base Metals (MGBM) seeks a Principal Specialist to bridge science with industrial deployment. You will translate innovative concepts into scalable, economically viable, and operationally ready solutions, guiding maturity and de-risking investments for FOAK deployments.

You will build robust tech-economic frameworks, drive risk-managed scale-up pathways, and lead cross-functional collaboration to commercialize emerging technologies while strengthening long-term competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, Mining, Mineral Processing or related field.
• Advanced technical degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in technology development, industrial innovation, or R&D scale-up.
• Experience translating lab concepts to industrial-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into scalable industrial solutions with design bases.
• Develop techno-economic models to quantify value and risk.
• Lead maturity governance and scale-up readiness for deployments.
• Collaborate across innovation, PD&E, and operations to de-risk investments.
