Job summary

Maaden is seeking a Lead Specialist in Data Science & Analytics to act as a technical leader, driving development, deployment, and scaling of ML/AI solutions across mining, processing, operations and enterprise functions.

The role requires delivering predictive models, building robust data pipelines, and ensuring governance, security, and adoption of analytics products at scale across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data-science delivery.
• Develop, implement and maintain databases and data-collection systems.
• Own the full lifecycle of ML/AI initiatives – from problem framing, data exploration, feature engineering, model development, validation, to MLOps handover.
• Deliver scalable and production-grade models, ensuring alignment with governance and AI standards.
• Create clear visualisations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
