Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the last mile operations for Amazon Now in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee multi-channel last mile networks across sites/dark stores, coordinating with Delivery service partners and 3P carriers.

You will interface with finance, HR, operations, tech/product, and procurement to drive safety, quality, and customer experience while managing a large team of Area Managers across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supporting project execution across multiple functions in the org.
• Resolve issues amicably during discussions between functions.
• Hold respective functions accountable for their deliverables.
• Partner with RoW countries to implement and share best practices.
• Maintain health and safety standards within remit area.
• Lead operational leadership by measuring performance and providing development support.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and reduce costs.
• Strategic planning for 3, 6, and 12 months with peak-season focus.
• Write leadership updates, MBRs and QBRs.
• Establish objectives and metrics for safety, quality, cost, productivity, and customer experience.
• Provide tools for success and drive productivity through data-driven decisions.
