Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a Land Surveyor to join our Construction Department in Makkah. You will conduct land surveys, establish control points, and verify construction layouts for major projects across the Kingdom.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams, using total stations, GPS, and laser scanners, and feed data into BIM and digital construction workflows aligned with Vision 2030.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience in construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment and software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys to establish accurate site measurements.
• Set out and verify control points, benchmarks, and reference lines for construction activities.
• Utilize surveying tools like total stations, GPS, and laser scanners to capture precise data.
• Prepare and maintain survey reports, field notes, and as-built drawings.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey data aligns with project specifications and design plans.
• Monitor and verify the accuracy of construction layouts and elevations.
• Ensure compliance with SBC and regulatory standards; perform QA on survey data.
• Support integration of survey data into BIM models and digital construction platforms.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE on-site; mentor junior surveyors.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments for optimal performance.
