Qualifications

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of land surveying experience.
  • Proficient with surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD and mapping software.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and municipal regulations.
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols.
  • SCE registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior surveyors in field surveys to collect accurate measurements and data.
  • Operate survey equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and levels; maintain accuracy.
  • Record and document survey data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Support the preparation of detailed site plans, maps, and reports based on survey findings.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure survey data aligns with project requirements.

About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a dedicated Land Surveyor Assistant to join our dynamic construction team in Khobar. In this role, you will work closely with experienced land surveyors to support the accurate measurement and mapping of project sites, ensuring the success of our large-scale infrastructure and construction initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Working Conditions
  • Primarily field-based role with work conducted on active construction sites.
  • Exposure to outdoor environments, including high temperatures and dusty conditions.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, safety vests, and boots is mandatory.
  • Standard workweek with occasional overtime based on project needs.
  • Regional travel within the Eastern Province may be required.
