The Career Nest is partnering with an upscale Al Khobar kitchen to recruit a driven Junior Sous Chef. You will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, maintaining high standards and leadership as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 3–4 years of kitchen experience, including 1–2 years in a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef role, and demonstrate discipline, adaptability, and strong organizational skills. English fluency is mandatory, with French or Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of solid kitchen background with 1–2 years in a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef role in fine dining or upscale environments.
• Strong technical culinary skills with attention to consistency and organization.
• English fluency is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure precision and quality across sections during service.
• Motivate, train, and support the kitchen brigade, stepping in to lead operations when needed.
• Enforce food safety and hygiene protocols across all stations at all times.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and kitchen workflow to adapt to busy services.
