Career Nest Academy partners with a casual neighbourhood dining destination in Al Khobar seeking a Junior Sous Chef. You will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef, oversee day-to-day kitchen activity, and help maintain the high standards of a fine dining environment.

English fluency is mandatory; French or Arabic language skills are advantageous. The role requires 3–4 years of kitchen experience, including 1–2 years in a Chef de Partie or junior sous chef capacity, and a strong leadership mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years solid kitchen background with 1–2 years as Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in fine dining or upscale environment.
• Strong technical culinary skills with focus on consistency, organization, and clear leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure precision and quality across sections during each service.
• Motivate, train, and support the kitchen brigade; lead by example and step in to command kitchen operations when needed.
• Enforce food safety and hygiene protocols across all stations; maintain a spotless working environment.
• Manage inventory control, stock rotation, and kitchen flow, adapting to busy service demands.
