Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking an experienced Inventory Team Leader for its Procurement Department in Riyadh. You will lead inventory across construction and engineering projects, optimize stock levels, and align with project timelines and budgets.

You will collaborate with project managers, procurement specialists, and logistics teams to maintain accurate records and implement best practices in inventory control, contributing to Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of inventory management experience in construction/engineering.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inventory management team to ensure accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of materials across multiple project sites.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste or overstocking.
• Monitor inventory levels and generate detailed reports to support procurement planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and alignment with project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other regulatory standards in inventory handling and storage.
• Oversee inventory management software implementations to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory records and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in inventory management and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers to streamline supply chain and reduce lead times.
• Support Procurement in achieving cost-saving targets through effective inventory control.
• Maintain compliance with Saudization (Nitaqat) and other labor laws.
• Promote safety and ISO 45001 and OSHA standards in all inventory activities.
