Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking a Communications Specialist in Saudi Arabia to drive high-quality internal and external communications. You will work with the Head of Corporate Affairs, Sustainability & Communications to develop content, manage channels and coordinate campaigns and events.

Responsibilities include crafting leadership messages, newsletters, social content, and crisis communications when needed, while localizing initiatives for the Saudi market in both Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in corporate or internal communications or PR.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Arabic and English.
• Able to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
• Experience supporting events and employee engagement activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate internal communications, including announcements, leadership messages, newsletters and employee stories.
• Manage internal channels, including email and digital screens.
• Maintain communications calendar and coordinate content planning and approvals.
• Support planning and execution of town halls, leadership visits and corporate events.
• Manage Arla Foods KSA LinkedIn content calendar and approvals.
• Develop external corporate content to strengthen visibility and reputation in Saudi Arabia.
• Identify and develop stories about people, culture, brands and business impact.
• Localize regional/global campaigns for the Saudi market.
• Draft and coordinate communications in Arabic and English, ensuring quality and relevance.
• Support crisis communications when required and coordinate with HR, Marketing and other functions.
• Work with external vendors for materials and events and track performance for improvements.
