Job summary

Med Surg Solutions (MSS) is seeking an IT Support / System Administrator in Saudi Arabia to keep our IT systems running smoothly and support end-users across our GCC operations.

You will manage hardware, software, networks, and security, while maintaining ERP functions and ensuring data backups. Immediate availability is preferred and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Experience with ERP systems; Odoo knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users (hardware, software, network issues).
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Manage network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
• Monitor system performance and ensure minimum downtime.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, and security policies.
• Maintain and update IT systems, software, and security patches.
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues.
• Support ERP systems (Odoo knowledge is a plus).
• Maintain data backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT support and procurement.

About the Role

The role supports the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensures system reliability, and provides technical support to users. In addition, it involves maintaining hardware, software, networks, and security systems, and handling basic support and admin ERP functions.

Education

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
• Experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT security controls.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and user support skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
