The Confidential is seeking an HR Specialist to support Organizational Development initiatives and payroll activities, focusing on organizational effectiveness, HR policies, job descriptions, performance management, and HR analytics.

You will collaborate with the Human Capital Leader to implement HR initiatives, maintain HR systems, review workflows, and ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and company policies across the holding company and subsidiaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
  • 4–6 years HR experience with Organizational Development and payroll exposure.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPD Level 5, SHRM-CP, PHRi, or equivalent is required.
  • Solid knowledge of payroll processes and Saudi Labor Law.

Responsibilities

  • Support Organizational Development initiatives to improve effectiveness and HR practices.
  • Review and maintain organization charts, reporting lines, and position information.
  • Develop, review, and maintain job descriptions to align with needs.
  • Support job evaluation, grading, and position mapping.
  • Develop and review HR policies, procedures, and Employee Handbook.
  • Assist with performance management processes and documentation.
  • Coordinate Individual Development Plans and training initiatives.
  • Maintain competency frameworks and related information.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce statistics.
  • Support manpower planning and vacancy tracking.
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for holding company and subsidiaries.
  • Validate payroll inputs and reconcile payroll-related transactions.
  • Handle end-of-service benefits and final settlements in line with policy.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidential payroll records and HR data integrity.
  • Assist in HR systems administration and data accuracy.
  • Review HR workflows and processes for improvements.
  • Support recruitment onboarding activities as needed.
  • Assist in HR presentations and communications for OD initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and company policies.

Job description

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting Organizational Development initiatives and managing payroll activities, with a focus on organizational effectiveness, HR policies and procedures, job descriptions, performance management, employee development, HR analytics, and HR systems. The role supports the Human Capital Leader in implementing HR initiatives and contributes to the continuous improvement of HR practices and processes across the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support Organizational Development initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness, structure, and HR practices.
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining organizational structures, organization charts, reporting lines, and position information in coordination with the Human Capital Leader and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop, review, and maintain job descriptions to ensure roles, responsibilities, reporting relationships, and job requirements are clearly defined and aligned with organizational needs.
  • Support job evaluation, job grading, and position mapping activities in accordance with the company's approved grading framework and methodology.
  • Support the development, implementation, and periodic review of HR policies, procedures, processes, and the Employee Handbook.
  • Support the implementation and administration of performance management processes, including performance cycles, goal setting, performance reviews, and related documentation.
  • Assist in identifying employee development needs and coordinating Individual Development Plans (IDPs), training initiatives, and other employee development activities.
  • Support competency framework development and implementation and maintain competency-related information and documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, workforce statistics, and key HR metrics to support management decision-making.
  • Support manpower planning activities by maintaining manpower data, tracking approved positions and vacancies, and preparing relevant workforce reports.
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time for the holding company and assigned subsidiaries.
  • Review and validate payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, allowances, deductions, overtime, incentives, and other payroll-related transactions prior to payroll processing.
  • Process employee end-of-service benefits, final settlements, and other payroll-related calculations in accordance with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
  • Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries and coordinate the resolution of payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure confidentiality and integrity of payroll and employee information.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of HR systems and ensure HR data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Assist in reviewing HR workflows, forms, templates, and processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and employee experience.
  • Support the Human Capital Leader in recruitment and onboarding activities when required, including candidate screening, interview coordination, selection documentation, and onboarding follow-up.
  • Assist in preparing HR presentations, reports, communications, and materials related to Organizational Development and Human Capital initiatives.
  • Ensure assigned HR activities comply with company policies, Saudi Labor Law, and applicable regulations.
  • Support the Human Capital Leader in HR projects and other Human Capital initiatives as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Good knowledge of Organizational Development principles and HR best practices.
  • Good understanding of organizational structures, job descriptions, job evaluation, grading, competency frameworks, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and payroll administration.
  • Good knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and employment-related regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and interpret HR reports, workforce data, and HR metrics.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in payroll and employee data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with relevant exposure to Organizational Development and payroll.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPD Level 5, SHRM-CP, PHRi, or equivalent is required.
