The HSE Specialist will support the Project HSSE Director and HSSE Manager by providing reliable safety assurance across project activities and contractor operations. The position combines field monitoring, contractor coordination, HSE data analysis, reporting, training, incident support, corrective action follow-up. By maintaining accurate visibility of project safety performance and ensuring unresolved issues are actively managed, the specialist will help reduce risk exposure and strengthen compliance with Parsons and Client requirements.
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of HSE experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable specialist role. Candidates must have practical experience working in Saudi Arabia and should understand the expectations, working environment, and contractor coordination requirements associated with major projects in the Kingdom. NEBOSH IGC is required, together with professional membership such as IOSH or IIRSM. The successful professional should have strong report writing, data gathering, analytical, and organizational capability and must be able to work independently with limited supervision when required. Strong English communication skills are important because the position involves Client interaction, Contractor coordination, HSE meetings, reporting, presentations, and incident documentation. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected, particularly for HSE statistics, management reports, presentations, action tracking, and performance analysis.
