Job summary

Thehseleader is seeking a Supervisor, HSE in Saudi Arabia to coordinate AMHEC safety programs and support management in maintaining a safe work environment. The role emphasizes training, incident investigation, and continuous improvement of the IMS.

The candidate will lead HSE activities, ensure compliance with KSA regulations, and oversee audits, site visits, and risk assessments, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate or NVQ level 5 preferred.
• NEBOSH General Certification preferred or NVQ/NQF level 5.
• Minimum 5 years in oil & gas or heavy equipment industries.
• Incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• ISO 14001/45001 familiarity.
• Hazard identification and risk assessment training.
• Willing to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Create HSE alerts and awareness training.
• Ensure training in PPE awareness is conducted.
• Report unsafe acts, conditions and near misses.
• Support in maintaining, updating, and improving the IMS.
• Develop and implement training plans for AMHEC employees.
• Support with HSE internal audits as per the internal audit matrix.
• Prepare and conduct Toolbox Talks on different safety topics as needed.
• Train AMHEC’s employees so they perform work safely.
• Inspect worksites regularly to identify hazards and risks.
• Attend client HSE meetings and monthly review meetings.
• Ensure management is aware of KSA HSE laws and regulations.
• Prepare site visit reports and communicate with departments and clients.
• Raise Stop Work Authority for unsafe acts/conditions.
• Take immediate action to correct unsafe conditions.
• Provide direction to the QHSE team to meet targets.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement HSE policies and procedures.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the QHSE team.
