Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Sales Executive with a passion for building client relationships and driving new business to help us grow revenue and promote our hotel.

You’ll identify opportunities, nurture existing and potential clients, promote guest rooms, meeting facilities, and F&B, make sales calls and site visits, and follow up on leads; we also offer a full uniform, impressive room discounts and some of the best training in the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field
• One or more years of experience in Sales, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Good knowledge of the local market and business environment
• Good command of written and spoken English required

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities to achieve sales targets
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients
• Promoting the hotel’s guest rooms, meeting facilities, and food & beverage services
• Conducting sales calls, client visits, and site inspections to generate business
• Following up on sales leads, proposals, and client enquiries
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
