Job summary

Holiday Inn Riyadh is seeking a Hostess/Host to join the Food & Beverage team. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating to ensure a smooth dining experience in accordance with brand standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and a polished appearance. English is essential; Arabic is a plus. This is an on-site position with opportunities for growth within a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Diploma in Hospitality preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage service, hotel reception, or guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with reservation or POS systems is a plus.
• Well-groomed appearance with a strong customer service focus.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to tables.
• Manage restaurant reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements for efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate table assignments based on reservations and guest preferences.
• Monitor occupancy and communicate availability with the F&B team.
• Respond to guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences.
• Assist with VIP arrivals, group reservations, and special occasions to ensure personalized experiences.
• Maintain a welcoming reception area and present menus and promotional materials.
• Coordinate with Captains, F&B Attendants, and Kitchen to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Handle guest concerns courteously and escalate as needed.
• Answer calls professionally and provide accurate information on services and hours.
• Promote dining promotions, menus, and events when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with grooming standards, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
