Job summary

Mövenpick Al Khobar, part of the Accor network, seeks a proactive IT Coordinator to support the hotel's technology infrastructure. You will ensure systems, networks, hardware and software operate smoothly to back daily operations and guest services.

You will provide first-line helpdesk support, maintain documentation, assist with upgrades and projects, coordinate with vendors, and help train staff while upholding security and reliability across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Experience in IT Support/Help Desk/System Administration.
• Hospitality IT experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments, basic server administration, and network infrastructure.
• Experience with hospitality systems and applications is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT support tools.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users, responding to IT helpdesk requests and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain hotel technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software across the property.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, system configurations, and user access permissions.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security protocols, including user authentication, data protection, and compliance with information security policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, software licensing, and technical support escalations.
• Assist with technology projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Perform routine system backups, updates, and patches to ensure data integrity and system security.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base resources.
• Support user training and onboarding for new technology systems and applications.
