Job summary

Unified Real Estate Development (URED) seeks a Function Head – Finance & Accounting to lead the finance function, drive strategic planning, and ensure IFRS and Saudi GAAP compliance across the group and subsidiaries. You will oversee FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury, mentor a high-performing team, and spearhead digital transformation through Yardi and Power BI for AI-assisted executive reporting.

The role requires a CPA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent and 10–12 years of progressive finance experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent professional certification is required.
• Minimum 10–12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in real estate, property management, or a related sector.
• Mastery of Yardi modules (GL, AP, AR, Budgeting, Reporting, Fixed Assets, Lease Administration) and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance & Accounting function, providing strategic oversight across FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury.
• Prepare and manage annual business plans, manpower plans, and departmental budgets for the Finance function.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for the Finance & Accounting team and drive performance.
• Drive digital transformation of finance operations including automation via Yardi, real-time Power BI dashboards, and AI-assisted reporting tools.
• Lead governance and performance reporting to the CFO & VP Support Services.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Saudi GAAP.
• Ensure VAT, Zakat, WHT, and ZATCA e-invoicing compliance; manage external audits.
• Manage treasury operations including cash flow planning and banking relationships.
• Provide capital allocation recommendations to the CFO.

Job description

The Function Head – Finance & Accounting is responsible for the overall financial management, business analysis, and strategic financial planning of Unified Real Estate Development (URED) and its subsidiaries. This role ensures the ongoing financial feasibility, regulatory compliance, and secure financial future of the organization in alignment with its mission, vision, and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The incumbent leads the Finance & Accounting team, drives digital transformation of financial processes, and serves as the primary business partner to the CFO and executive leadership across all financial, treasury, tax, and reporting matters.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Lead the Finance & Accounting function, providing strategic oversight, direction, and governance across all sub-functions including FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury.
• Prepare and manage annual business plans, manpower plans, and departmental budgets for the Finance function.
• Establish and monitor measurable KPIs for the Finance & Accounting team; drive accountability and performance.
• Drive the digital transformation of finance operations including automation via Yardi, real-time Power BI dashboards, and AI-assisted reporting tools.
• Lead multi-function governance and performance reporting to the CFO & VP Support Services.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Saudi GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory frameworks including VAT, Zakat, WHT, and ZATCA e-invoicing requirements.
• Lead all statutory audit processes; manage external auditor relationships and resolve audit findings.

Treasury & Capital Management

• Manage treasury operations including cash flow planning, banking relationship management, and credit facility oversight.
• Monitor investment portfolio performance and provide recommendations to the CFO on capital allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification (required).
• Minimum 10-12 years' progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in real estate, property management, or a closely related sector.
• Mastery of Yardi modules (GL, AP, AR, Budgeting, Reporting, Fixed Assets, Lease Administration) and Power BI.
