Job summary

PrimeDefense USA in Jizan is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen, drive high-quality dishes, and craft seasonal menus using local ingredients. You will manage and train kitchen staff and maintain food safety standards.

This role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, fluency in English, and the ability to translate creative concepts into consistent plating and cost-control measures.

Head Chef

We are looking for an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team in Jizan. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our customers. You will also be responsible for creating unique and delicious menus that showcase our restaurant's flavors and specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen workers
• Plan and create seasonal menus that incorporate fresh, local ingredients
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with food safety standards
• Collaborate with management on budget planning and cost control measures
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to continuously improve menu offerings

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
• Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining classic favorites
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Fluent in English (Malayalam proficiency is preferred)

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Jizan (Accommodation can be provided if needed)
