Tabby is seeking an Intern Backend (Go) Engineer to join the Risk Technologies, Engineering department in KSA. You will contribute to real production backend work on high-load, security-critical systems.

Open to current students and fresh grads, with a path to full-time opportunities based on performance. The role emphasizes hands-on coding, code reviews, and collaboration with senior engineers across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• This internship targets strong early-career engineers with frontend/backend flexibility.
• Must be able to read and modify existing code and work with production code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go
• Work with relational and in-memory data stores
• Contribute to API development and service-to-service integrations
• Participate in designing and evolving backend components
• Read and understand existing system architecture and data flows
• Write code focusing on correctness, reliability, and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Fix real bugs and address technical debt in production systems
