Job summary

Tabby in KSA is seeking a Backend Engineer to scale the systems behind Tabby’s core products. You’ll work on high-impact projects alongside a world-class remote engineering team spread across 20+ countries.

The ideal candidate has backend engineering experience with Golang and a strong background in distributed systems, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, GCP, and microservices. You’ll participate in a fast-growing fintech environment and collaborate with international teams.

Qualifications

• Backend engineering experience with Golang.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of backend tools: PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, GCP, GitLab, microservices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development.
• Writing clean, testable, maintainable code.
• Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication in English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services using Golang.
• Design and maintain distributed systems and microservices.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, GCP, and GitLab in a high-load environment.
• Integrate third-party APIs and contribute to product features.
• Write clean, well-tested code with good documentation.
• Collaborate with an international engineering team and stakeholders.
