Job summary

Tabby is seeking a backend engineering intern to join its Risk Technologies team in Saudi Arabia. You will contribute to production Go services, work with relational and in-memory stores, and participate in API design and code reviews from day one.

This full‑time internship is embedded in real teams, with ownership of tasks, mentoring, and scope to grow into junior or mid roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in computer science and backend development.
• Solid Go programming ability or strong base in another backend language with readiness to work in Go.
• Understanding of HTTP, APIs, and basic distributed system concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases and Git workflows.
• Excellent communication in English; open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go.
• Work with relational and in-memory data stores.
• Contribute to API development and service-to-service integrations.
• Participate in designing and evolving backend components.
• Read and understand existing system architecture and data flows.
• Write correct, reliable, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
