Job summary

Middle East Specialized Cables (MESC) is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Officer in Riyadh to manage daily shipping operations. The role focuses on coordinating import/export shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records while complying with regulations and internal procedures.

You will prepare documents, track schedules, and coordinate customs clearance with brokers, aiming to optimize freight costs and delivery timelines in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in shipping or logistics operations.
• Good knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and shipping terms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, and delivery orders.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate customs clearance and follow up with customs brokers.
• Monitor shipping schedules, freight costs, and delivery timelines.
• Resolve shipment delays and documentation issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update shipment reports.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
