Job summary

Ma'aden Gold and Base Metals (MGBM) in Saudi Arabia seeks an Engineer, Geotechnical to support geotechnical engineering activities, field investigations, data testing, and design input to manage ground conditions, hazards and risks in mining operations.

You will conduct field investigations, soil sampling, rock core logging, in-situ tests, and laboratory testing, and you will prepare geotechnical reports and communicate findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or technical certification in geotechnical or civil engineering.
• 3–5 years of geotechnical fieldwork and data analysis experience.
• Experience in field investigations, site reconnaissance, soil sampling, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations, soil sampling, rock core logging, and groundwater monitoring to assess ground conditions.
• Analyze geotechnical data and contribute to slope stability, foundation design, and mitigation recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineers and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
