Qualifications

Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferable.
8 years experience in Fleet Operation.
Advanced knowledge of Fleet Operation Management.
Computer skills.
Communication skills.
Leadership skills.
English/Arabic language capability.

Responsibilities

Execute the daily plan of vehicle transport.
Manage day-to-day fleet operations.
Oversee and coordinate fleet maintenance.
Maintain fuel consumption by comparing trip destinations with actual fuel costs.
Monitor on-time vehicle delivery.
Schedule routes and deliveries.
Ensure driver availability daily.
Monitor driver behavior daily.
Develop and train drivers in vehicle loading and offloading.
Comply with government regulations.
Monitor fleet condition, vehicle delivery timing, shipment damage ratio, and operational costs.
Develop and monitor the team and create a succession plan within the department.
Exercise hiring and firing authority over drivers.
