Job summary

Rize is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with the CFO and translate complex financial data into clear operating and funding decisions. You will own models, forecasts, and analyses used by the executive team, funding partners, board, and investors in a fast-paced fintech environment.

You will build driver-based financial models, manage asset-backed financing analytics, and liaise with lenders, auditors, and advisers, while driving budgeting and cash flow planning from Riyadh.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analytical finance experience with independent ownership.
• Fintech / BNPL domain experience.
• Direct exposure to lending or receivables-based businesses (e.g., consumer finance, BNPL, or banking).
• Advanced Excel & modeling mastery: auditable, driver-based models with transparent assumptions.

Responsibilities

• Build, stress-test, and maintain driver-based 3-statement models, cash flow, and scenarios.
• Own the analytical engine for asset-backed and warehouse facilities; manage borrowing-base availability and drawdowns.
• Act as the finance liaison for lenders, banks, auditors, and external advisers; prepare recurring reporting packages.
• Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and short-term cash tracking; monitor liquidity thresholds.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to partner closely with our CFO and turn complex financial and portfolio data into clear operating and funding decisions. In this role, you will own the models, forecasts, and analysis used by our executive team, funding partners, board, and investors. This role suits someone who builds from first principles, thrives through imperfect data, and communicates commercial and liquidity insights with razor-sharp clarity.

What will you be doing?

• Financial Modeling: Build, stress-test, and maintain driver-based 3-statement, funding, and scenario models. Connect contract economics, yield, funding cost, credit loss, and servicing cost-to cash flow, profitability, and balance-sheet outcomes.

• Asset-Backed Financing: Own the analytical and reporting engine for asset-backed and warehouse facilities, including eligibility, borrowing-base availability, advance rates, utilization, covenant headroom, and drawdowns.

• External Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary operational finance liaison for lenders, banks, auditors, and external advisers. Handle recurring reporting packages, fulfill information requests, and maintain smooth day-to-day working relationships (while senior negotiations remain with the CFO).

• Planning & Cash Flow: Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and short-term cash tracking. Monitor working capital and minimum liquidity thresholds to spot funding needs well ahead of time.

• Portfolio Analytics: Partner with Risk to analyze cohorts, vintages, DPD movements, roll rates, and loss trends—translating your findings into concrete pricing, credit, and funding recommendations.

• Decision Materials: Create concise, executive-ready presentations for management, the board, and lenders that state the decision clearly, evaluate trade-offs, and suggest action steps.
  

You're a perfect match if you have

• 2+ years of of relevant analytical finance experience (FP&A, financial modeling, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or investment banking) with clear evidence of independent ownership.

• Fintech / BNPL Domain experience: Direct exposure to credit platforms, BNPL, or lending operations.

• Direct exposure to lending or receivables-based businesses (e.g., consumer finance, BNPL, or banking) with hands‑on credit economics or funding facility exposure.

• Advanced Excel & Modeling Mastery: Ability to build auditable, driver-based models from scratch with clear assumptions, logic, outputs, sensitivities, and built-in error checks.

• Strong Cash & Commercial Judgment: Ability to turn incomplete or messy operational data into defensible financial strategies.

• Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication.

• Location: Full-time onsite in our Riyadh office. Must be a Saudi National or a KSA resident eligible for an employer iqama transfer. Nice-to-Haves

Preferred:

• Direct experience with asset-backed/warehouse funding facilities (borrowing bases, covenant tracking, lender reporting, drawdown schedules).

• Hands‑on experience with cohort, vintage, DPD, or roll‑rate analysis.

• Background in Big Four transaction advisory/consulting, especially if followed by in-house fintech or lending ownership.

• Progress toward CFA, CPA, SOCPA, ACCA, or practical experience with SQL and BI tools.
