Job summary

Confidential in Jeddah is seeking a Finance Manager to build and lead the finance function from the ground up for a large-scale steel manufacturing startup. The role requires establishing the chart of accounts, ERP (SAP) configuration, internal controls, and policy frameworks, while guiding cost accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

You will oversee banking relationships, ensure IFRS and ZATCA compliance, and deliver monthly reports and KPIs to the CEO, with emphasis on team

Qualifications

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
8–10 years of finance experience in the manufacturing industry.
Fluent English, spoken and written along with Arabic.
Hands-on ERP experience (SAP).
Experience leading a finance team.
Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Set up the finance function: chart of accounts, ERP configuration, policies, approval matrix, and internal controls
Lead the finance department
Lead cost accounting
Prepare budgets and forecasts and manage cash flow and working capital
Track capex and project costs through to plant start-up
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, suppliers, and government bodies
Ensure compliance with IFRS and ZATCA requirements (VAT, e-invoicing, withholding tax, and zakat)
Deliver accurate monthly management reports and KPIs to the CEO and leadership team
Lead, develop, and coordinate the accounting team (AR, AP, costing, treasury)
Develop team skills and automate processes.
