Job summary

Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily F&B operations, mentor a diverse team, and uphold Fairmont’s renowned service standards in a luxury resort setting.

You will drive guest satisfaction, optimize costs, and coordinate with kitchen and service teams during peak periods while ensuring safety and quality across all outlets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in food & beverage operations within a hospitality setting.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations, menu planning, and service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and budget management.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decisiveness in high-pressure environments.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food service operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Multilingual abilities (Arabic and English preferred) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage food and beverage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a motivated and skilled team.
• Maintain consistent service quality and operational standards across all F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage costs, and implement strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation regulations are strictly adhered to in all food preparation and service areas.
• Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations during peak service periods.
• Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance service skills and product knowledge.
• Analyze operational metrics and prepare reports on performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage reservations, special events, and customized dining experiences to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain organized records of staff schedules, inventory, and financial reports.
