Job summary

Raffles The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Director of Operations to lead all luxury resort operations, driving guest experiences and operational excellence.

You will oversee front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance and security; manage budgets, KPIs, vendor contracts; mentor teams; ensure compliance with local regulations and brand standards; contribute to pre-opening planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations management experience in luxury hospitality environments.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale resort/hotel operations with multi-million dollar budgets.
• Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, financial analysis, and budget optimization.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality operations, guest service standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience with property management systems and hospitality technology platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian business practices, regulations, and cultural considerations is highly desirable.
• Project management experience and ability to implement operational improvements and process optimization.
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics interpretation.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies and policies aligned with luxury standards.
• Oversee all operational departments, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency.
• Manage operating budgets, monitor financial performance, and analyze KPIs to optimize profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop operations team members.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and luxury hospitality standards.
• Maintain and enhance guest satisfaction through quality assurance programs and proactive problem-solving.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement for cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain standards.
