Job summary

Avanta Works in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least three years of welding experience and can work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan layouts and procedures.

Responsibilities include selecting welding equipment and methods (MIG, TIG, oxyacetylene), performing welds in multiple positions, inspecting joints, and maintaining safety and equipment. A High School Diploma is required; technical certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical school certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of welding experience required.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and oxyacetylene welding techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to read measurements with precision instruments.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
