Job summary

PPOAR in Riyadh is hiring a skilled Welder to fabricate metal components for construction projects. The role involves reading blueprints, setting up welding equipment, selecting filler materials, and fusing metal segments according to customer orders.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent with welding training, proven MIG/TIG/ARC experience, and strong precision, safety awareness and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Immigrant applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding preferred.
Proven welding experience; experience with Mig, Tig, and Arc welding is an asset.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Understanding of safety standards related to welding operations.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints, specifications or diagrams to determine the type of welding required.
Set up welding equipment by following prescribed procedures.
Select proper filler rods or welding materials to be used in the process.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding machines to fuse metal segments together according to customer orders.
Inspect completed work pieces for accuracy and conformance to customer specifications.
Monitor and adjust machine settings as required during the fabrication process.
