Job summary

Rosewood Red Sea is seeking a Sous Chef - Events to assist the Events Chef de Cuisine in planning, preparation, and execution of banquet, event, and catering culinary operations across the resort.

You will oversee food production, team performance, and operational readiness for conferences, weddings, VIP functions, and private dining experiences, ensuring exceptional quality and flawless execution at every stage.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality, banqueting, or large‑scale event culinary operations.
• Strong knowledge of food production, presentation standards, and safety practices.
• Excellent organization to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Events Chef de Cuisine in daily banquet and event culinary operations.
• Ensure all food preparation, presentation, and service meet Rosewood standards.
• Oversee culinary execution for conferences, weddings, VIP events, and private functions.
• Maintain consistency in recipes, portion control, food quality, and presentation.
• Review event requirements and coordinate with operations teams for seamless delivery.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and standards while supporting improvement.
