Job Summary
The Equipment Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the mobilization, transportation, allocation, and utilization of heavy equipment across multiple infrastructure and construction projects. The role ensures the timely availability of equipment to support project operations while maintaining compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with project teams, maintenance, procurement, and logistics providers, the Equipment Logistics Manager drives operational efficiency, cost optimization, and effective fleet management to ensure the successful execution of EPC and infrastructure projects.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement equipment logistics strategies to ensure the timely mobilization, allocation, relocation, and demobilization of heavy equipment across multiple project sites.
- Plan and coordinate the transportation of heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and safety standards.
- Optimize equipment utilization by monitoring fleet availability, deployment, and productivity to maximize operational efficiency and minimize idle time.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Operations, Equipment Maintenance, Procurement, and Transport teams to meet project equipment requirements.
- Monitor equipment movement, transportation schedules, and delivery performance to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Manage relationships with transport contractors, equipment suppliers, and logistics service providers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and contractual compliance.
- Oversee equipment inventory, tracking systems, and logistics documentation, ensuring accurate records and real-time visibility of fleet assets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, Saudi regulations, and transportation standards for oversized and heavy-load movements.
- Prepare logistics plans, transportation budgets, utilization reports, and performance KPIs, recommending continuous improvements to reduce costs and enhance operational performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Equipment Logistics team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CLTD, PMP) is preferrable.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in equipment logistics, fleet management, transportation, or heavy equipment operations within the EPC, construction, infrastructure, mining, or industrial sectors.
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role leading logistics or equipment operations.
- Familiarity with heavy haulage, oversized load transportation, and permit requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Understanding of equipment lifecycle management, maintenance coordination, and asset utilization.
- Proven experience managing both hard and soft services across multiple functions.
- Proven experience managing the mobilization and transportation of heavy equipment across multiple project sites.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or EPC projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly preferred.
