Job summary

Norconsult Telematics is seeking an Electrical Engineer to supervise low and medium voltage electrical works for modular building construction. You will review and approve design drawings, witness FAT/SAT, coordinate with subcontractors and site teams, and ensure compliance with Saudi codes and project requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a minimum of 8 years in electrical construction supervision, and strong knowledge of SBC, SEC, and ITP processes.

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with registration or eligibility with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE); Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in electrical construction supervision, testing and commissioning on building or infrastructure projects with practical LV/MV experience.
• Working knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC), international electrical standards, the IFC-to-as-built submission cycle, ITPs, and pre-commissioning/commissioning.
• Experience with submittal/inspection workflow: MS, MAR, ITPs, PQD for electrical contractors.
• Modular, prefabricated, or DfMA program experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency with project/supervision tools (Primavera P6, Aconex, AutoCAD).
• Saudi/GCC construction supervision experience; familiarity with SBC and SEC requirements preferred.
• Strong written/spoken English; Arabic is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel; role across multiple cities in the Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve electrical detailed design and IFC/shop/as-built drawings.
• Review and approve MS, MAR, ITPs, PQD for electrical subcontractors.
• Supervise LV and MV power, distribution, cabling, containment and earthing in factory modules and on-site.
• Witness FAT, module release, site receiving inspection and SAT.
• Coordinate SEC interface and energisation authorization; witness standby and emergency power systems.
• Verify LV/ELV interface readiness, containment, earthing and labelling before energisation.
• Raise SORs and NCRs and track closures.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, mechanical and low-current disciplines for interface issues.
