The role requires proven experience in a high-volume setting, knowledge of Egyptian cuisine, leadership skills, and fluency in Arabic. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Egyptian Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
• Knowledge of traditional Egyptian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills to train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook traditional Egyptian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is cooked and presented in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment; order as needed.
• Ensure proper storage of all food items to maintain freshness and quality.
• Monitor portion control, waste, and overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
