Job summary

Client of Visuna is seeking a Drilling Supervisor for Saudi Arabia to oversee day-to-day drilling operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to the approved programme. The role requires coordinating rig crews, service providers, and contractors while monitoring performance and well parameters.

The candidate should have extensive Saudi Arabia drilling experience, strong knowledge of well control, and proven leadership and problem-solving skills. Rotation: 5 weeks on, 5 weeks off.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Drilling Supervisor / Wellsite Drilling Supervisor.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia is essential.
• Strong knowledge of drilling operations, well control, and rig-site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day drilling operations at the wellsite.
• Ensure safety and efficiency per the drilling programme.
• Coordinate rig crews, service companies and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day drilling operations at the wellsite Ensure drilling activities are carried out safely efficiently and in accordance with the approved drilling programme Coordinate rig crews service companies and third-party contractors Monitor drilling performance operational progress and well parameters Identify operational risks and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented Ensure compliance with HSE procedures well control requirements and company standards Manage daily operational reporting and communicate progress issues and requirements to the wider drilling team Support troubleshooting and decision-making during drilling operations Drive operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of safety and well integrity

Candidate Requirements

Extensive experience working as a Drilling Supervisor Wellsite Drilling Supervisor Previous drilling experience in Saudi Arabia is essential Strong knowledge of drilling operations well control and rig-site supervision Proven experience supervising drilling contractors and service companies Strong HSE awareness and commitment to safe drilling operations Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills Relevant drilling and well control certifications Able to work a 5 weeks on 5 weeks off rotation in Saudi Arabia Extensive experience working as a Drilling Supervisor / Wellsite Drilling Supervisor .Previous drilling experience in Saudi Arabia is essential.Strong knowledge of drilling operations, well control and rig-site supervision.Proven experience supervising drilling contractors and service companies.Strong HSE awareness and commitment to safe drilling operations.Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.Relevant drilling and well control certifications.Able to work a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation in Saudi Arabia.Candidates with strong previous experience on major drilling projects within Saudi Arabia are particularly encouraged to apply.
