Job summary

Matar Al Baqmi Holding Company is seeking a proactive Customer Service Officer to support logistics and delivery operations within the Supply Chain team. The role focuses on coordinating daily deliveries, monitoring GPS-tracked trucks, and ensuring timely, well-communicated deliveries.

You will work closely with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and logistics personnel to optimise truck utilisation and improve delivery performance, while maintaining accurate records and smooth communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in customer service or logistics coordination is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deliveries between customers, drivers, dispatchers and logistics personnel.
• Monitor vehicle movements via GPS and track departures/arrivals.
• Confirm customer readiness before dispatch and manage delivery exceptions.
• Communicate delivery requirements and restrictions to logistics teams.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and trip records.
• Support in identifying delays and implementing corrective actions to improve fleet utilisation.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers and drivers for scheduling and issue resolution.
