Position Overview

The Delivery Director role is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a large-scale Giga infrastructure program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the Senior Program Director Delivery Partner, this role leads multi-disciplinary delivery teams, ensures alignment across procurement, design, construction, and handover stages, and maintains strong client relationships to achieve program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Senior Program Director Delivery Partner and collaborate closely to ensure seamless program delivery from procurement through design, construction, and handover to operations
• Manage and oversee Discipline Delivery Directors responsible for Wet Utilities, Dry Utilities, Roads and Bridges, Tunnels, and Mobility
• Ensure alignment of all discipline teams with overall program objectives, milestones, and delivery strategies
• Act as a primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment with expectations and program goals
• Oversee program progress and provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to the client and key stakeholders
• Review cost forecasts, risk assessments, and claims, providing strategic recommendations for extra works and program adjustments
• Ensure compliance with company HSEQ policies and procedures, promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and performance
• Monitor and optimize resource deployment across all program components to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Lead program delivery efforts and provide strategic direction to ensure priorities and milestones are achieved
• Direct and assess program planning activities, identify critical paths, and ensure alignment with program schedules
• Develop and implement efficient program management procedures to streamline office-based and site operations
• Maintain in-depth oversight of contract documents and ensure adherence to contractual obligations across all work packages
• Apply technical expertise to support constructability reviews and ensure deliverables meet quality, feasibility, and performance standards
• Coordinate with internal support functions including procurement, engineering, contracts, QHSE, and stakeholder management

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Construction Management is preferred
• Minimum 25 years of relevant experience, primarily with Tier 1 international contractors or major consultancy firms
• At least 10 years of experience working in the GCC, preferably in Saudi Arabia
• Proven leadership experience managing senior delivery teams across multiple infrastructure disciplines
• Extensive supervisory experience on large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, utilities, and mobility systems
• Experience delivering airport-related infrastructure is an advantage
• Strong ability to bring together diverse teams and work collaboratively across departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
