The Technical Director will lead all technical functions for large-scale, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects, ensuring design, engineering, and project delivery meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership across all engineering and design disciplines
• Ensure alignment of technical deliverables with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards
• Oversee design development and engineering review processes for complex infrastructure systems
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate technical solutions
• Facilitate collaboration between multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Implement quality control processes and conduct technical audits and reviews
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Deliver innovative engineering solutions to complex infrastructure problems
• Manage technical resources including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Ensure teams are adequately staffed and equipped to meet project demands
• Engage with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on technical matters
• Represent the project in technical meetings, presentations, and stakeholder engagements
• Support budget and schedule management from a technical perspective
• Ensure technical activities are delivered on time and within budget constraints

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 20 years of experience in engineering, design review, and technical leadership roles
• Experience working on large‑scale infrastructure projects such as highways, railways, airports, or utilities
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC region is preferred
• Professional Engineer certification or membership in engineering bodies is an advantage
